Zhoukoudian frames are inspired by the skull of the Peking Man. The Peking Man intermittently inhabited the Zhoukoudian cave near Beijing. He was about 180 cm tall, robust, and similar to modern humans. His exact timeline is unclear but is estimated between 780,000 and 230,000 years ago, spanning multiple ice ages. There is debate about his cultural complexity, including whether he hunted, made clothing, or controlled fire. Peking Man gained fame as an early "missing link" supporting the theory of evolution.
